Project Engineer - Electronics
We have urgent requirement of Electronic Engineer
Department: Project Management
Project Location(s): Houston, TX, US
Responsibilities
- Perform schematic capture and review, PCB Layout and design review, and electrical BoM release.
- Circuit design to meet CE EMI/EMC testing standards
- Create component specification and hardware test specification based on required parameter, performance and cost criteria
- Communicate with firmware design/development team and mechanical engineering team
- Communicate within the team to understand requirements and initiate proof of concept implementation
- Create and maintain documentation as per product life cycle for Hardware Development
- Provide insightful DFM, DFT, EMI/EMC of designs
- Perform board level testing, troubleshooting, and prepare test reports
- BOM Preparation and management
- Provide post production support by identifying complex technical issues, evaluating options and implementing solutions
Skills/Experience
- Should have experience on Mixed Signal Design, Analog Circuit Design, Digital Circuit Design
- Digital design experience including logic, 8/16/32 bit microcontrollers/Microprocessors.
- Experience on DSP based designs is a plus.
- Should have knowledge of Interfaces like SPI, I2C, USB, UART, Ethernet, Wi-Fi, RS485, etc.…
- Should have experience of Schematic capture in Altium or OrCAD
- Should have worked in Multi-layer board design, minimum 6 layers.
- Knowledge of EMI/EMC Standards and Testing
- Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communications skills; flexible, self-directed and able to work in a team environment. Multi-site experience working with USA clients is a plus.
