#STEM education is a teaching and learning approach that is a unique combination of #Science, #Technology, #Engineering, and #Mathematics. To be precise, STEM education primarily focuses on hands-on and problem-based learning methodology. STEM emphasizes developing logical and critical thinking skills by allowing students to learn and understand things from the perspective of the real world. STEM education equipped students with the skills that are required to succeed in their respective careers whether it be in jobs, entrepreneurship, etc.

With #STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics), it is not the teaching of one subject but rather the amalgamation of all four subjects as a comprehensive one through an interdisciplinary curriculum. This helps students to deal with real-world situations and apply their learnings to create, innovate and discover new things.

As part of the continuing efforts of EDUTECNICIA (www.edutecnicia.com) and #Hopeshore Academic Team to build an Experiential Learning Environment and a STEM-based Teaching culture in Hopeshore Schools, conducted the Level II workshop for the Educators of HOPESHORE PUBLIC SCHOOL, Perinthalmanna.

Shared the importance of STEM Integration in the teaching and learning process with demo sessions and live examples. Opened some insights on #Interdisciplinary and #transdisciplinary STEM Integration approaches. Happy to see the transformation of HPS Faculties from Conventional Teachers to 21st Century #Educators by being a part of the un-learning & re-learning process.
